How to Deep Clean Oven Racks

It’s the holiday season and we all know what that means FOOD and even more importantly COOKIES. Yes food, we all love good, good turkey, duck, chicken and baked goods around the holidays. It brings the whole family together. Making sure your oven racks are clean and ready for the holidays is critical to making sure your dinner is the best it can be.

What you’ll need:

  • Distilled White Vinegar
  • Baking Soda
  • Scrub Pad

Step 1

Remove the oven racks and put them in your bathtub or shower.

Step 2

Saturate the racks with vinegar.

Step 3

Powder the oven racks with baking soda and let it sit for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Fill the tub with hot water until it is covering and let sit for another 10 minutes.

Step 5

Use the scrub pad to remove all grime, rinse and let dry.

Return your racks to the oven and you are ready to go. We hope you have a great holiday season and that all your baked goods and turkeys come out amazing.
