Mega Service Solutions Makes Donation to Stayin’ Alive Cleaning Supply Drive

As parents, students, faculty, and staff head back to school in some way, shape, or form, Ladies Heights Happy Hour got together and made a plan.

The group knew this has been a difficult time for everyone involved especially for teachers as they look to get the supplies they need to start a new school year.

So, they set out to collect cleaning supplies for title one teachers in an effort to give them peace of mind in knowing they have the items they need to keep their classrooms clean.

The result was the creation of the Stayin’ Alive Cleaning Supply Drive with a mission to collect the following:

– Hand sanitizer (any unopened forms)
– Sanitizer wipes
– Lysol or similar
– Extra masks for kids
– Pencils / pens / crayons
– Hand soap
– Paper towels
– Binders

On Friday morning, our General Manager, Kevin Garcia, made the important drop-off of hand sanitizer to the drive.

Kevin Garcia - Dropping off Hand Sanitizer at the Stayin' Alive Cleaning Supply Drive

“As a commercial cleaning company, we understand the importance of equipping school faculty and staff with the proper cleaning supplies to keep high-traffic, high-touch areas sanitized throughout the day,” said Garcia, “We’re happy to give back to the community in any way we can and appreciate the work this group is doing.”

If you’re interested in participating, there are three drop-off locations:

  • Seminole Heights Athletic Center 4423 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33603
  • Valhalla Resale 6112 N Central Ave, Tampa, FL 33604
  • The Disco Dolls Studio 4632 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33603

The drive ends on Monday, August 31.
